Firebomb Review
By: Maria

Sydney has to drive Sloane's getaway car. They have a pleasant conversation. "I told you that if you came after me, I'd kill you!" He explains his plan without revealing any of it to her. "This is bigger than SD-6, Sydney. Than the CIA. Than me deceiving you. Than me being betrayed by you..." Vaughn works to disarm the C-4 in the Swiss bank's basement. Sloane hears that it's gone, he jumps from the getaway car to a speeding van.
Kendall yells at Sydney, she, of course, yells back. Both claim that the other's efforts are mediocre to capture Sloane.
While at Syd's apartment, Vaughn gets a call from Weiss. Uh-oh- the bug killer in the lamp isn't working-the call activates a bug that Francinator planted. When they go to the CIA to speak with Marshall, he says, "Yeah, I made it," and finds some cute way to say, "Yeah, I can deactivate it." Jack then demands that Marshall engineers the bug to find out where the conversations are going.
Sloane and Sark are in Swiss-land. Sloane views a Rambaldi page with a hole in the center, as Sark tells him that Genius man's tests are complete. Apparently, some artifact is ready, and Sark will prepare to test it. Sloane goes to Kanblahblah, and meets some Middle-Eastern dude. He tries to recruit him as a partner. He gets his support by giving Middle-Eastern dude some pen belonging to an Afghani warrior-poet.
At SydandFrancies', Franfake attempts to get Syd to reveal her activities, "We've grown apart recently." Yeah, right. Because you were close in the first place- I'm sure she adores the person who killed her best friend. Sydney then gets a phone call from her suffix, and leaves. Franfake calls Sark, cause she figures out that the bugs have been discovered. He is all, "Frame someone." So she frames the plumber. And then kills him. Couldn't she have been a little more creative with placing the blame there? Honestly. She is supposed to be some superspy...
The bug couldn't be traced, so Kendall uses his intel that places Sloane with Middle-Eastern dude. Syd then reveals that Dixon had infiltrated Middle-Eastern dude's ops and stole a missile shipment. Kendall commands Syd to recruit Dixon. Dixon is all, "No." And Sydney is all, "Yeah." Vaughn orders Will to give the analysis of Kabir to Kendall.
In Middle-Eastern dude's house, he sees Sloane admiring a Buddhist statue of some sort of guy who destroys the enemy. He then asks for proof of Sloane's power. Sloane is all, "Pick someone to kill."
At the CIA, Will tells them to contact Middle-Eastern dude's ex-wife, who hates him- alot. She is married to some guy who is an administrator at the Vatican Embassy, in Mexico City. Meanwhile, Sark is in Mexico City, where he hides the Rambaldi weapon in a van outside the Church, and sets it at 20% of its capacity.
Sydney, disguised as an old woman, finds Middle-Eastern dude's ex-wife, who doesn't want to help. Weiss tells Vaughn about Sarks plan, which is to blow up the Embassy. He tells Sydney, who knocks out the lady. Weiss then notices infared on his monitor, and as VaughnandSyd speed away with the ex-wife, everyone in the church bursts into flames. Middle-Eastern dude's ex-wife, as they go back to the church, sees all of the burned people, and that sways her to help.
Middle-Eastern dude, thinking his wife dead, gives Sloane the statue and $40 Million as a gift. The CIA traces Sark to Afghanistan and Mexico City, and of course assumes that the op involved Sloane. Syd's Mission is to get in to the compound and disable the weapon. Syd needs to wear a cold suit to evade the heat sensitive cameras. Marshall explains how the weapon works, that it can take down planes, it emits a high energy, microwave like pulse.
Syd successfully enters Middle Eastern dude's house, but her info was bad, and she's detected and captured when her mask is knocked off during a fight. Kendall refuses to assist and take the chance to save Syd's life, so Vaughn, loving his prefix and all goes to Dixon desperately.
